Today was a productive and structured day filled with both professional and personal responsibilities. My morning began early with a 1-hour workout focused on my chest, shoulders, and triceps. This gave me the energy I needed to move into the workday with momentum. After cleaning up, I conducted a morning meeting with my Platoon Sergeants to discuss the upcoming tasks for the week, ensuring everyone was aligned and prepared.

Later in the morning, I briefed my Command Sergeant Major on the upcoming field exercise. We discussed logistics, training objectives, and timelines to ensure smooth execution. Around lunchtime, I had a brown bag lunch with my junior Soldiers (E1-E4) at the local dining facility. It was a good opportunity to connect with them casually and check on morale.

In the afternoon, I led our Company Training meeting. We reviewed our current statistics, discussed the physical fitness improvement plan, and walked through upcoming training events. I then spent time handling administrative tasks like reviewing school enrollments, NCOER evaluations, and pending awards.

After that, I had a scheduled briefing with my Company Commander to go over the next two weeks of tasking for our troops. After work, I ran 3 miles to unwind and stay fit.  At home, I cooked dinner for my son and me. We enjoyed a simple but healthy meal and spent some time together before I settled down to begin my homework for class.
